In my last few posts i have given you guys information on Balla Powder and all of the Balla Powder Formulas. I have also written on the best and most popular methods of applying Balla Powder. But I wanted to take the time to let everyone know what other places you can apply Balla Powder to stay dry and fresh all day long.

The Fellas

If you are a fan of Balla Powder and of this blog, than I’m sure that you are aware that Balla Powders main purpose is to keep your boys dry and fresh all day long. A light application after your morning shower will keep your balls dry, fresh and chaff free.

The Backside

A close neighbor to the twins is the backside. This is obviously an area that can always use an improvement in the scent department. While Balla Powder can’t help with the source of most of the smell back there, we can help with the moisture that occurs down there during hot days or during exercise.

A small sprinkle of Balla Powder to your backside in the morning will keep your butt cheeks dry, fresh and chaffage free all day long.

Your Shoes

I recently got an email from a fan asking me about a fairly new product called “Fresh Balls.” I have heard about this product before, but really did not pay any attention as I knew that Balla Powder is the most superior product for keeping your balls dry. But none the less, I decided to do a little research on Research on Fresh Balls and see what all the hype is about.

Fresh Balls is a deodorant creme that you must apply to your hand and then apply to the area that you would like to keep clean. This is all well and good, but not the most pleasant experience if you would like to use it to keep your backside area clean and fresh. I can’t see applying that directly by hand to be a pleasant experience during your morning routine. So I think Balla Powder definitely has Fresh balls beat in this area.

The next thing I looked at were the ingredients in Fresh Balls and compare them to the ingredients in Balla Powder. So here are both of the ingredients side by side.

Balla Powder Ingredients: Talc, Zinc Oxide, Zinc Stearate, Fragrance.

Fresh Balls Ingredients: Water (Aqua), Ethyl Macadamiate, Tapioca Starch, Carbomer, Coco-Caprylate/Caprate, Polysorbate-60 (Plant Derived), Sodium Hydroxymethylglycinate (Natural Preservative), Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyl Dimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Tetrahydroxypropyl Ethylenediamine, Squalane,vena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Extract, Ethylhexylglycerin (Plant Derived Preservative), Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil.

By comparing the ingredients list you can see that Balla Powder is a very simple formula with ingredients that you can pronounce. Fresh Balls ingredient list looks like a science experiment ingredient list. The only saving grace in there ingredient list is that they have aloe in the mix. Aloe is never a bad thing.

My general train of thought is that if can’t pronounce and ingredient, you should not feel comfortable applying to your testicles each and every morning. Very few cosmetic or bathroom based products are ever approved by the FDA and neither our Balla Powder or Fresh Balls. But if I had to apply a product to by balls and gentital area, I would definitely use the one with ingredients I can pronounce and have been used for centuries to keep people dry (Talc).

The next comparison between these two men’s drying and deodorant based products is price. How much does Freach Balls and Balla Powder cost when compared to each other?

Fresh Balls – $14.99 for 3oz ($5 per oz)

Balla Powder – $14.99 for 3.5oz ($4.29 per oz)

So based on price both Fresh balls and Balla Powder are pretty similar in price (Balla Powder being a little cheaper per oz.)

But the net weight of the products can be deceiving. 3oz of liquid is not going to last as long as 3.5oz of powder. Considering that you will probably use a less than a gram per use when applying Balla Powder, I can say pretty confidently that you will get way more applications with a tube of Balla Powder over a tube of Fresh Balls.

The next comparison for these two men’s products are how they work at keeping you dry. I’ll keep this comparison short. I have used Balla Powder for years living in a hot and humid climate (Florida) and Balla Powder has never let me down. I am always dry and fresh all day long. So I have no need to try Fresh Balls.

On a side note, I will not apply any product to a part of my body so important (Balls) with ingredients that I cannot pronounce or spell. As the FDA does not review and approve deodorant based products, neither Fresh Balls or Balla Powder have been reviewed or approved. So while choosing a product to keep my boys and backside dry and fresh all day, I chose the product that has simple natural ingredients and works flawlessly.

How to Apply Balla Powder for Men

Lately we have been posting information on the different varieties of Balla Powder. But today I wanted to give you guys some tips and tricks on how to use Balla Powder.

The Hand Approach

The most simple way of applying Balla Powder is to sprinkle a little into the palm of your hand and then applying it to the desired body part. This is a pretty efficient way to quickly apply Balla Powder to your boys and nether region.

One thing I have noticed since using Balla Powder is that if you sprinkle most of the product into the palm of your hand it can be hard to apply it to the desired area and really spread it around effectively.

My cure for this is to hold out your hand, palm side up and keep your fingers together. Now sprinkle the desired amount of Balla Powder onto the finger part of your hand. Now you can use your fingers instead of your palm to apply the talcum powder to a specific area and be able to spread it around effectively.

The Towel Method

My personal method for applying Balla Powder is the Towel method. I have found that by applying Via Towel I get a much more even application and use less of Balla Powder to cover the same amount of body.

The Towel method is very simple. First you are going to need a small dry wash cloth. Second You will need a tube of Balla Powder. You can use any of the varieties of Balal Powder, The Original Formula, Tingle Formula or the Fragrance Free Formula will all work great with this method. It is really just a personal choice as to which product works the best for your personal drying needs.

First you are going to take your wash cloth and fold it in half twice. This should leave you with a square that is roughly 3 or 4 inches long on each side. You can use a larger or smaller wash cloth, but I have found that an 8″ by 8″ wash cloth is the perfect size to apply Balla Powder to all parts of the body.

After you have folded your wash cloth in half twice, you simply need to sprinkle some Balla Powder on the side you are going to use to apply it to your body. Being that this is the first time you are sprinkling Balla Powder onto the wash cloth, you are going to have to use a little more than normal. The reason for this is that the wash cloth is going to absorb some of the powder. This may seem wasteful at first, but the wash cloth is reusable and will store some the extra Balla Powder for your future applications. And since you are applying the powder and using the wash cloth right after a shower, there is not a need to wash the cloth very often. I would recomend washing the wash cloth one every two weeks.

Now that you have sprinkled the Balla Powder onto the wash cloth, it is now time to apply the Balla Powder to the desired body part. Take the wash cloth with the side that the powder is on and pat it a few times in the desired location or until the desired area has an even coating of powder.

Some areas that you can apply Balla Powder to are the genitals (Most Popular), taint and backside area, underarms, feet and hands.

The three advantages that the towel method has over the hand method are as follows.

  1. You will not have to wash your hands to remove the Balla Powder after applying it.
  2. You will use less Balla Powder to cover more area in the long run.
  3. It helps minimize getting Balla Powder on your bathroom floor.

So there you have it. The two main methods of applying Balla Powder to your body. Which one you choose is of course a personal decision. But the important thing is that you are keeping yourself fresh and dry all day long.
